Crucita is a small fishing village about 20 minutes drive from Portoviejo (the capital of the province of Manabí). Buses make the journey all day long. The beach is quite narrow, even at low tide, but it is very long so you’re bound to find your own space. There are a few places to stay and a few places to eat and not much else to do except… Crucita is a very popular place for paragliding, which is done from the high dunes behind the village and can be organised any day in a few shops and restaurants near the central square.
